Samaplast AG has set itself a target for reducing GHG emissions, which has been reviewed and validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Specifically, Samaplast AG has committed to reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 50% by 2030, based on the 2018 baseline year, and to measuring and reducing Scope 3 emissions. This target is in line with the most ambitious goal of the Paris Agreement – 1.5°C.
