Resource conservation and recycling

We use comprehensive recycling methods in our production processes. Cutting oil residues are centrifuged, filtered and reused in separate cutting oil tanks (medtech/industry). The metal chips produced during manufacturing are also completely recycled.

Sustainable energy supply

Since the end of 2022, we have been covering around 25% of our electricity requirements with our in-house photovoltaic system (170 kWp). In addition, we save 5% energy annually thanks to our E-Power energy-saving device. Since 2015, we have been using only electricity from 100% Swiss hydropower to run our production.

Efficient water use

Our rinse water is treated in an environmentally friendly manner using an automatic wastewater treatment system in a split process. This allows us to conserve valuable water resources and ensure a sustainable circular economy.

Modern building technology and heat recovery

Thanks to the complete renovation of our building envelope, we have almost achieved the Minergie standard. The oil heating system has been replaced by an energy-efficient heat pump. We also use the waste heat from our compressors to heat the building, which significantly reduces energy consumption. Oil mist extraction systems on our CNC automatic lathes ensure clean air and a pleasant working environment.

Environmentally friendly cleaning technologies

Our industrial cleaning system with integrated ultrasound works with environmentally friendly, modified alcohol. For medtech components, we rely on cleaning with water-based processes to ensure the highest environmental standards.

Sustainable packaging solutions

When shipping our turned parts, we use recycled packaging or reusable containers to minimise the use of disposable materials.
