PolyJet-Precision: Anatomy you can touch
Discover how our PolyJet technology produces high-precision, multi-component medical models in just one print run - ideal for surgical planning and practical simulations.
PolyJet technology opens up impressive possibilities for the additive manufacturing of complex medical models and prototypes in a single process step.
A prime example of this is our anatomically precise model of a human kidney - with a pronounced black ulcer. Three different materials were combined for this, which clearly demonstrates the versatility of the PolyJet process at NT K+D AG.
Such models are an asset for surgical planning: thanks to high-quality scans (e.g. CT), a realistic 1:1 image is created that simulates different tissue textures and densities. This enables surgeons to practise procedures and prepare operations even more accurately.
PolyJet offers:
Microscopic slice resolution (0.024 mm) for the finest details
Combination of hard and flexible materials (Shore 30-95 A) in one print.
Use of proven photopolymers such as Digital ABS for thermally/mechanically resilient components.
