Pocket hole cleaning with Elmasteam ES-8
The Elmasteam ES-8 enables cleaning with pinpoint accuracy of hard-to-reach areas such as undercuts, thin deep holes and, in particular, pocket holes.

Cleaning thin deep holes and pocket holes is always a challenge. In pocket holes with a diameter of less than 3 mm, neither cleaning nor rinsing media can reach the bottom of the hole without complex technology. In deep holes with a diameter of less than 1 mm, surface tension prevents the exchange of liquids. As a result, such areas are often inadequately cleaned or not cleaned at all.
With ELMA's steam technology, even inaccessible areas can be cleaned and dried quickly and to a high standard of cleanliness using only steam (i.e. without any additional additives). Drying is carried out with compressed air, which is fed into the device and activated by a button.
For pocket holes, cannula attachments are used by activating the steam at the bottom of the hole and pulling out the cannula. Drying is carried out in the same way in a second step using the compressed air connected to the device.
For general cleaning requirements, tap water or, better still, softened water can be used. For high cleanliness requirements, deionised water should be used.
If the Elmasteam is used frequently, we recommend connecting it directly to the water supply and operating the device with the optional integrated pump without interruption for refilling.
Integration into automated systems is possible via an optional interface.
