Cleanliness as a means to an end
Components for medical technology generally do not tolerate dirt or they have to be cleaned using complex processes. Listemann not only pays attention to a high degree of cleanliness in the heat treatment plants, but also equips all furnaces with a high-vacuum pumping station. The result at the end of the thermal process is shiny metallic parts. This saves time-consuming post-cleaning.
Complex geometries and low distortion
Today, medical instruments have to serve increasingly complex and different purposes. With the progress of machining production technology, the instruments can meet these requirements, but this poses a challenge for low-distortion heat treatment. Listemann has chosen the furnace sizes in such a way that the instruments experience as little distortion as possible during heat treatment due to optimized charging.

Listemann is focused on a very high standard of quality, which confirms the extremely high level of customer satisfaction. We achieve this primarily by not mixing heat treatment batches. This means that in a specific batch of medical devices, we only treat medical devices, whereby often the batches are even separated in terms of materials. In this way, we prevent any contamination of medical devices with foreign materials.
