From data vortex to value-based precision oncology platform
Hospitals are suffocating under data silos – SHAPEHub connects clinical, patient, and cost data in real time, creates digital twins, and immediately shows which therapy is truly beneficial for which patient – measurable, scalable, and data secure.
Fragmented data silos prevent value-based precision medicine. SHAPEHub is building a federated data engine that harmonizes clinical findings, PROMs/CROMs, and costs in real time and evaluates them in a learning health system. Based on digital twins, the system leaves the world of average cohorts behind and quantifies therapy effects and toxicity on a patient-specific basis – as a direct decision support signal for tumor boards and consultations, for example.
In the Swiss sarcoma network, this reduced the number of unplanned “whoops” operations, accelerated MDT decisions, and made outcome-cost coupling visible.
The presentation shows:
- how an interoperable data layer with ontology mapping works,
- which governance principles ensure data protection and scalability, and
- why federated analytics are the key to value-based healthcare models – across indications and countries.
