It is the mission of Balgrist Campus to prevent or cure musculoskeletal disease and injury. Operating the three open-access platforms Imaging, Biobanking and Movement Analysis, Balgrist Campus is part of a unique national platform for musculoskeletal research, development and translation.
The Balgrist Campus is a non-profit, tax-exempt institution that is entirely inspired by the musculoskeletal patient of today and specifically dedicated to the patients of tomorrow.
Patients, physicians, researchers and industry are brought together under one roof to address the unsolved problems and unanswered questions of the locomotor apparatus, discover the causes and mechanisms of our disabilities, and develop new successful treatment strategies, opening a door to better musculoskeletal health.
The Swiss Centers for Musculoskeletal Imaging (SCMI), Biobanking (SCMB) and Movement Analysis (SCMA) are the three pillars of our highly specialized, international, open access research infrastructure of Balgrist Campus. The three platforms with its leaders specialize in the organization and execution of musculoskeletal research projects and are aveilable for internal, external national and international research groups or industry.
