Automated Dynamic Plantar Aesthesiometer (ADPA)
ADPA is a high-precision, automated pain threshold measuring device that can be used in pharmaceutical research. One of its greatest advantages and strengths is the high degree of objectivity created during the measurement and the automation of the measurement process.
Z Elektronika Kft. has several developments, one of these is the ADPA (Automated Dynamic Plantar Aesthesiometer), which we optimized together with the Institute of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy of the University of Pécs.
Pain-relieving drug research is an extremely active area of drug development. This is especially true for neuropathic pain, the treatment of which is still problematic in many aspects. The innovative, high-precision, automated pain threshold measuring device is considered a significant novelty at an international level. One of its greatest advantages and strengths are the high degree of objectivity created during the measurement and the automation of the measurement process. The use of this device can significantly reduce the subjectivity of the individual that occurs during the evaluation of pain tests performed on experimental animals.
