Acting responsibly - not only in production
At Andres AG, sustainable action is not just a side issue - it is part of our self-image. As a supplier of medical technology, we attach great importance to energy efficiency, resource conservation and a conscious approach to the environment and climate.
Our most important environmental measures:
- A significant part of our electricity requirements is covered by our in-house photovoltaic system
- Our previous oil heating system has been replaced by a modern heat pump
- Heat recovery from machine cooling additionally reduces heating energy requirements
- All lighting in production and offices has been converted to LED technology
- Ongoing sensitization of employees to energy and environmentally conscious behaviour
We are continuously working on tapping further potential to reduce emissions, waste and resource consumption - including in the supply chain. The introduction of a certified environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 is planned for 2026.
For us, sustainability is not just a question of technology, but a question of attitude.
