General Terms and Conditions (GTCs)
Persons contacting Messe Luzern AG within the scope of the online ticket shop declare their agreement with the following terms and conditions of use:
1. Sales point
The online ticket shop of Messe Luzern AG is an official sales point of Messe Luzern AG. Payment transactions and collection are carried out via the online ticket shop on behalf of Messe Luzern AG.
2. Offer / contract partner
Messe Luzern AG lists its own event products in the online ticket shop and also acts as an agent for other event organisers. Contractual relationships are estalished exclusively between the ticket purchaser and the organiser of the corresponding event.
3. Exclusion of liability
Messe Luzern AG accepts no liability for personal injury, damage to property or financial loss in connection with the organisation and execution of events. Messe Luzern AG excludes in particular any and all liability for events that are cancelled or rescheduled or for deficiencies in the organisation and execution of events.
No guarantee is given with regard to the correctness of information disseminated by Messe Luzern AG (e.g. on its website and other publications). In particular, Messe Luzern AG offers no guarantee for the correctness or completeness of the information. Messe Luzern AG shall not be held liable for damage to the user's computer system due to malfunctions, interruptions or overloading resulting from the use of the Messe Luzern website. Similarly, Messe Luzern AG shall not beheld liale for damage caused by transmission errors or other deficiencies.
4. Regulations of the event organiser / ticket validity
Compliance with the event organiser's regulations is mandatory; the regulations are available from the event organiser on request. Ticket sellers expressly acknowledge these regulations, in particular with regard to the safety stipulations, age restrictions and other acess restrictions and any other regulations. Any form of ticket misuse is strictly prohibited. Compliance with instructions issued by the event organiser's personnel is mandatory. Violations may result in exclusion from the event.
Tickets are only valid if acquired through an official sales channel of Messe Luzern AG. Ticket sellers must themselves ensure that their Print@Home tickets are protected from misuse (e.g. illegal copying, modification or printing by an unauthorised person). Tickets must be protected from moisture, dirt, damage and mechanical and optical impact. The barcode must be machine-readable.
5. Ticket return and exchange
As a rule, tickets cannot be returned or exchanged. If an event is rescheduled, the tickets will automatically be valid for the new date. If an event is cancelled, the ticket sellers can only raise a claim against the event organiser (contract partner). Messe Luzern AG is entitled but not obligated to reimburse monies not yet transferred to the event organiser or reimbursed by him to ticket sellers on his behalf. Tickets must be returned to and reimbursements made by the sales point from where the tickets were purchased. In all other cases and after the expiry of a period of thirty days, tickets can only be returned to the event organiser on the basis of his terms and conditions of return.
6. Final stipulations
Deviations from the preceding general terms and conditions are only effective if agreed in writing. By ordering a ticket, the ticket purchaser acknowledges the preceding terms and conditions. Messe Luzern AG retains the right to change these general terms and conditions at any time with no obligation to state a reason. Changes shall not apply to orders placed before the change was made. In the event one or more of the stipulations of these general terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the contract. Swiss law applies exclusively to the entire contractual relationship between the event organiser and the ticket seller. The place of jurisdiction is Lucerne.
7. Data protection
By placing an order or registering online, the customer permits Messe Luzern AG to save his person-related data in a machine-readable format and to use it to process contractual transactions. Additionally, by placing an order or registering online, the customer permits the event organiser to use his person-related data to inform him of new products and services he may be assumed to have an interest in on account of his order or registration (e.g. exhibition visit, exhibition offer, website updates, payment modalities, etc.). Messe Luzern AG retains the right to send the customer enquiries and information by email or post without prior announcement. Newsletters offered to customers can be cancelled at any time after receipt of the first issue.
